Steam sets fire to our wallets once again with a new insane week-long sale.
Quote:
This week we're celebrating the release of the Elite Units of the East, new Downloadable Content for Empire: Total War™, with a huge sale on Total War™ games, packs and DLC from SEGA and The Creative Assembly.
All Empire, Rome, and Medieval II: Total War™ games and packs, including the Total War™ Mega Pack are 66% off, while all Empire: Total War DLC and the new Empire: Total War™ - Downloadable Content Pack are 10% off.
Whether you're new to the series or looking to round out your collection of Total War™ games and content, this week is the time to buy.
I've never played the Total War games, but the 10€ price for Empire is hard to argue against.
I effin LOVED Rome. Medieval II was great, and I think I would have liked Empire a lot had the game shipped with the most recent patch's bug fixes, but Rome was definitely my favorite. I would love to see a remake.
I did buy Medieval 2 during an earlier sale, but I never found time to play through more than the tutorial. I might buy Empire and Rome, since they are the top rated in the series.
I already have Medieval and expansions... but the whole pack is too tempting, and plus, I don't need the DVDs anymore.

It's cheaper to buy the games individually if you already own to of them, at least in Europe.
It's cheaper to fly to the States, buy a computer here, rent an apartment (with a lease and damage deposit!), set up a wireless network, create a U.S. Steam account, and buy it here, going to an expensive restaurant while it downloads...
