Avatar Gets a PC Demo

If you're itching to try out Ubisoft's game based on a movie, based on James Cameron, you're in luck! You can now download the PC demo for Avatar and give it a day in court. First impressions indicate that it plays a lot like Lost Planet and isn't bad. Thanks to GAF for the mirrors.

Quite interesting actually. Graphics were good in DX9, did not try DX10 mode.

Had some issues with the controls, and I couldn't find out if you could get out of third person view.

The AI on the Na'vi was pretty bad though.
