Torchlight is a Diablo Clone. League of Legends is a DotA clone. Apples and Ardvarks, my friend.
Please see below. This is lifted from earlier in the thread.

So I would ask your "curious minds" to give League of Legends a try for free before committing to the $20.
When you point out something I thought I made clear in the first place, it makes me think your sinister plan was to make me seem foolish. I would remind you that it is only I who can make me seem foolish. Or Modeps.

My sinister plan what to, in fact, use the phrase, "Apples and Ardvarks" today. Weekly quotas, and all.

I downloaded the demo and tried it a bit tonight. Not sure yet whether I'm digging the visuals or not. I'll have to give it more of a go tomorrow night when I have more time.
This is another one of those corridor RPGs in that everything takes place while walking down a tight hallway. It's fun, but I tend to prefer RPGs that don't force me through corridors, and instead give me a wide open landscape ala Oblivion and most MMOGs (other than GuildWars, which is a corridor MMOG).

Also, Shacknews is now reporting that it's available to Steam users.

Quest list, on rails. It seems fun so far, but I'm not convinced yet on a purchase.
Edit: After playing for the last couple of hours, It's growing on me. It has several extremely addicting Diablo-esque/Titan-esque qualities, especially the loot drops.
Fun game! I'm just nervous that when I buy the full game from Steam, it will overwrite my Steam demo and I'll lose my character. That would suck.
Edit Edit: Bought it. Steam updated the demo with no problem.
