Splinter Cell: Conviction Collector's Edition Announced
Ubisoft sends along a Press Release announcing the Collector's Edition of Splinter Cell: Conviction. The special edition comes with two exclusive in-game items, a bunch of useless goodies and a $79.99 price tag.

There's someone out there who's a fanatic, some good percentage of the SC playing population that will certainly buy these things up. I'm sure. But not me.
First, I don't think there is any way I would spend that much for this game. Also, I don't care that much about "in game" items.
The custom USB drive loaded with content sounds pretty cool.
However, here is what I like about collector's editions. I love the "making of DVD's" Hearing the game designers and artists describe the process of developing their vision into a game experience can help me appreciate a game more and notice things the developers crafted that I might have overlooked. The movies on HALO 2 were outstanding for this. Aside from that, who needs another napkin map of dragon land?
