God of War III Ultimate Edition, Preorder Bonuses Announced

Are you sure that wasn't just the down payment? And do you have access to the demo as we speak?
We just got this info at work today. Was kind of disappointed with it. The box is great ( who doesn't love Pandora's Box :P ) But I would have rather seen it packaged with GoW 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray.
$100 seems high, in my opinion. A book and a box, then a bunch of downloads. Providing the music as mp3's is just lame, they should be audio cd's included in the package.
My roomie just informed me that it's available for $10 down at every GS in the state (Georgia), so the people who had no info for HarleyGuy were probably pretty clueless-- and that's saying a lot considering the typical $8/hr GS employee.
Might pony up on this bad boy, but I really should save my money for more prudent purchases like food and/or rent.
The art work or design on the cover of the GoW3 game case sucks. So unimaginitive...a closeup of Krato's eye? Just crap.
Hopefully the game play has improved, not just rehashed crap of the first 2...not that it sucked all that bad.,... Fun but terribly limited character customizations.
Those extras in this ultimate edition...as downloads-only sucks total ass! They should come on a Blu-ray/DVD or CD for the soundtrack. Damn...it could have been good, but instead, what a wasted effort GoW 3 is.

I've unexpectedly had an email off sony with a download code for the GOW E3 demo which I'm Downloading right now.
I haven't pre ordered it, I'm quite pleasantly surpised!

As for this Ultimate Edition, money says it'll be even worse than Halo's and Arkham Asylum Collector's Editions Combined. I don't for one second believe the Pandora's Box will be anything but cheap plastic shit that looks like you bought it at a 99 cent store and making most of the content a bunch of MP3s and video files and charging you $40 is ridiculous.

I'd be thrilled if the box even opened. With that being said, I'll definitely pass on this collector's edition. I've never been all that fond of the God of War series up to this point, so anything more than the standard edition would be of little interest to me.
