This has perhaps not been as timely as people would have liked and they may well have missed the boat but Bethesda have stated that the PS3 Fallout 3 DLC should be finished soon.
Quote:
Speaking exclusively to Eurogamer, chief spokesperson Pete Hines said getting the DLC (which has already been released on PC and Xbox 360) to work on PS3 takes quite a lot of effort, actually.
"Yes, quite a bit actually," he said. "It's a different platform with a different way of doing things and it requires special attention and plenty of testing before it's released."
"We are trying to put the finishing touches on it now, but as I said above it's a different task than DLC on another platform, and so there are things we have to finish doing and testing before it's done on PS3."
Testing being the operative word; Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel all arrived on Xbox 360 amid technical problems. Point Lookout, on the other hand, arrived this week without incident.
I was given a PS3 version of Fallout 3 as a gift. I loved the game but when the timed exclusive DLC came along I was sorely tempted to get it on 360 as well. Now I'm glad I held off on that purchase because I'll be able to use the saved games that I put so many hours into. While I wait, at least I can take comfort in the possibility that the PS3 releases may benefit from the extra testing time.
Bethesda totally missed the boat on this one for PS3 owners. Screw them assholes, they're blacklisted. I guess Microsoft's about to kick them out of their bed and they need love from Sony now...hence 'nearly ready'.

Wait, weren't you the guy lambasting the game a few threads ago for being a 'major disappointment'? How have they missed the boat for PS3 owners by failing to deliver, in your opinion, substandard product?
Do you have any actual facts behind any of your allegations?
Awww, poor PS3 owners (which includes me). We complain when we don't get it and we complain when we do. I'm playing Fallout 3 for the 2nd time and there is way more than enough content to keep you entertained for 100+ hours, the DLC ads what, an extra 15-20 hours? If you haven't exhausted the original content, why complain about the lack of DLC? Did you?
