July's Game Informer Stars Max Payne as Bloody Homer Simpson

Yikes. The years have certainly not been kind to ole Maxwell Payne. He's bald, goes around in a stained wife beater, and gained a bit of weight. Game Informer has revealed their July issue's cover to let everyone know they've got a big article about Rockstar's pill popper.

Quote:
He’s been out of commission for a while, but did you really think Max Payne was done for good? Not if he has anything to say about it. Game Informer has the world-exclusive on Rockstar’s return to the grittiest cop on the streets with Max Payne 3. Our 10-page cover story will give you the scoop on what has happened to Payne over the last 10 years and why he’s back to a life of blood and violence.

how is he going to plow top shelf poon like mona sax looking like that? While I appreciate the artistic direction, I'm not sold on it.

He just hasn't been the same since he lost his badass "I'm taking a shit" expression from Max Payne 1.

Clearly not enough people beat Max Payne 2 on Dead on Arrival mode to get the good ending where Mona lived and his life has sucked ever since.

Max Payne felt unique because every bit of it oozed film noir style like the sap rolling down a northeastern maple on a bitter cold winter night. The kind of cold that drives daggers into the heart of even the hardiest of men.

This image on the other hand, does not.

I remember people complaining that Max Payne 2 made him look too old. This is just hilarious.

Now this is an interesting turn of events. I like the direction and am really looking forward hearing more about it.

Yeah, nothing like him.

If I saw this picture without reading it's from Max Payne 3, I would think it's another Bruce Willis film. Or another game.

I love they're doing something different. How much true noir has stories of men beyond their prime getting dragged back into the seedier side of the underworld. You may be popping Fiber pills instead of pain pills but whatever, let me see some more...I'll wait to pass judgment.
