Still playing The Witcher: Enhanced Edition? Well, maybe you aren't but CD Projekt Red has announced they will be releasing a new version of The Witcher EE called 1.5. This will add some new content as well as get rid of any DRM you may have had along with it. Best of all, if you already own the game, it's free!
Quote:
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition 1.5 is the newest version of the game, including all bonus content from The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and five additional fan-made adventures. Most importantly, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition 1.5 is completely DRM-free! Playing The Witcher will be even more fun without any form of annoying copy protection. Moreover, the 1.5 version of The Witcher will remove the disc check, allowing you to play the game without the DVD in the drive.
All available versions of the game will be upgraded to 1.5, including the forthcoming The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director’s Cut for North American gamers.
Nice, fan-made adventures. Will have to give it a shot.

Nice, I was planning on playing it again anyway since I recently upgraded my rig. Looking forward to it.
CD Projekt Red has given The Witcher the kind of post release support usually only seen from developers with much deeper pockets like Valve or Blizzard.
Christ, a developer continues to support a game and they get shit?
Unbelievable!
Yeah, and they're not even going the nickel-and-dime you to death approach that is DLC, heh.
