I guess that means a few people still play. I find it funny myself how much I was looking forward to stuff like the Gears of War 2 and Halo 3 map packs a few months ago and how little I care now that other games are taking up my time.

Timing is everything.

More than a few, I think. Currently just under 100,000 playing right now and over 800,000 unique players in the last 24 hours.

After going through a backlog of my games to beat (I refuse to buy new ones until I do), I think Halo3 is next on my list. I'll go through the SP campaign, then hit up the multiplayer.

I only played it online for a weekend when it first came out, but did remember having fun. Are a lot of people still playing the original maps online? I see there's a free map to download called Cold Storage, so that's kind of nice.

I basically don't have the Legendary, and obviously this new one. Opinions on Legendary map pack? worth buying? Those maps look better to me then this new one.

The 'Heroic Map Pack' is also free and I believe all the ranked playlists require all the free map packs. The ranked playlists include the original maps, so yes the original maps are still being used.

If you buy Halo 3:ODST it is supposed to come with Mythic maps and the next map pack for free.

You do realize that Halo 3 is still the most played game on Xbox 360? And all map packs are 10 bucks for every game. COD, Gears, Halo all 10 bucks.

Did they ever fix The Pitt? I know the first release was borked and so was the second release.
