While references to the titles have since been removed, VG247 is reporting that they have confirmed from Traveller’s Tales animator Charlotte Parker that she is in fact working on both LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Indy Jones 2.

Traveller’s Tales animator Charlotte Parker has just confirmed to VG247 that she is working on both Lego Harry Potter and Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at the UK developer.
“That’s right,” she told us on the phone when asked if she part of the games’ teams.
“But they’re not confirmed. I can’t really talk about them.”
Parker’s online CV let the cat out of the bag today, saying, “Am currently working as a Cutscene Animator on LEGO Harry Potter & LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which are both in the early stages of production.”
LEGO games have not interested me since the first Star Wars ones.
This... actually kind of makes sense to me. Indy and Batman never did, what is their analog for "force powers" portions of the lego gameplay? Harry Potter has magic, done and done.
Not that I'm interested in the game, not a Potter fan but loved Lego Star Wars (even re-bought it for 360). But this does make sense to me as far as "is there a market for it" goes.
Making a game out of Crystal Skull is stupid. Why not just make up your own Indiana Jones storyline???
We are talking about LEGO characters -- it isn't like the story has to be all that deep. Throw in a powerful artifact and some Nazi's BAM! (Forgive me Emeril.) and you have an instant hit. Stay far far away from trying to remake a movie that most people hated.

I am not sure about Indy for myself but my son will be all over it as well as Mr. Potter's game.
Any reason why Marvel didn't get onboard with Lego instead of those MegoBlocks? A Secret Wars Lego game would be a lot of fun I think.

I liked Lego Batman, although not nearly as much as Lego Star Wars. Lego Harry Potter should work great, with seven books (and someday movies) to work with, but Crystal Skull? Meh, better to do an original storyline like they did with Batman, as Mr. Avatar suggested.
