It looks like GameFly has taken a cue from services like RedBox, and has opned their first rental kiosk.

GameFly is expanding its operation to automated rental kiosks, with the first having recently appeared at Texas Tech University. The Daily Toreador reports (via Kotaku) that the newly dubbed "G-box" is located in the Barnes & Noble campus bookstore in the Student Union Building. It works just as you would expect from similar movie rental kiosks that have become popular in malls and grocery stores nationwide. GameFly plans to roll out more kiosks across the country, letting players rent games with their credit card. "The kiosk program is a way to extend the GameFly universe into the physical world," said company co-founder Sean Spector.
The games will cost $2.49 for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 games, and $1.99 for Wii games, and are priced at a per day basis. This makes it a cheap option for trying a game for a day or two, but more expensive than some competitor's week-long rentals and even GameFly's own monthly subscription service. However, the report states that renters "will not be given due dates or late fees," which raises questions of how a daily charge would be enforced.
