GI.biz and Kotaku bring the unhappy news that EA has "set free" the studio responsible for Destroy All Humans:

Electronic Arts has ended its deal with Pandemic's Brisbane studio, according to internet reports.
The studio will retain its own intellectual property and equipment, according to blog Kotaku, and is currently looking for new partners.
"It was more of a 'find a new publisher. Good luck.' kind of thing," said an unnamed source.
Played the first Destroy All Humans on the original Xbox. Meh - fun to blast away humans for some minutes but the idiotic wanna-be-silly cutscenes/mission briefings were unbearable. While it's always sad when folks lose their job, I've already wondered why they'd survived that long.
Didn't BioWare did a fusion/merge with Pandemic in 2005? I never understood that. BioWare and ... come on.... Pandemic?
