LEGO Harry Potter in development?

Computer & Video Games is reporting a rumor that the next LEGO title from developer Traveller's Tales is LEGO Harry Potter.

Is this the sequel that adds the fun?

If so, this will be a guilty pleasure of mine.

I hadn't considered that. I guess there is a way to make Harry Potter games fun.

The word "Duh!" has never applied more strongly to a news article.

Wonder if it will cover all seven books or just the first six (as those movies are already finished).

Either way, it is a good idea. Looking forward to playing Ronarrymort.

I wish they'd stop making these AWFUL Lego games. Though I guess considering how bad Harry Potter games usually are, this may be a big improvement. :-P

Perhaps they will split it up into 2 games? The 7 book will be made into 2 movies so they could split the movie series in half.

I have had a ton of fun with all of the Lego games of this style so far. I believe Lego Star Wars II was the best one so far but I haven't been overly disappointed with any of the others either.

I'll be looking forward to this game if the rumour ends up being true.

They shouldn't release this till after the last movie hits... then incorporate all HP games into this one Lego title.

Not much chance of that since they didn't even include the 4th Indiana Jones movie in the Indiana Jones game and the movie and the game came out at about the same time.

But in the case of Indy, they were doing us all a favor. /rimshot

Anyway, there are annoyances in the Lego games that I just can't accept still being present in their fourth title. Regardless of the property, it's off my automatic-buy list.

I didn't play any of the LEGO Star Wars stuff. The first two LEGO games I bought were LEGO Indy and LEGO Batman as they were both properties my girlfriend enjoys which I thought could help ease her into gaming.

Both are incredibly fun, but both are incredibly similar in terms of gameplay (and to be honest, LEGO Batman felt like a really lazy production). I couldn't imagine having to pay for another one regardless of the license.

Actually, there is an even chance they will do that. Lego Star Wars (the first one) came out around the same time as Episode III and it contained Episode III content.

Well, I wouldn't say there is "not much chance of that" since the 4th installment wasn't nearly as important as the 7th movie of the Potter series. I mean, really.
