EuroGamer has dug up a user-posted video that appears to confirm the rumored PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of CD Projekt's RPG, The Witcher.

As CD Projekt continues to tease its next game, a user-posted video on Gametrailers may have let the cat out of the bag, in the shape of a 6-minute, cinematic-backed interview with game designer Jakob Stilinsky discussing console versions.
The Witcher: Rise of the Wolf is the name, allegedly, and Stilinsky said on the undated video that the Xbox 360 and PS3 "adaptation" benefits from "a completely new combat system that is more dynamic and more engaging", along with sharper visuals and other console-specific improvements.
This very weekend I played around with The Witcher on my HTPC using a 360 controller via Pinnacle Game Profiler. It is mostly playable, but a bit hard to control.
With the right interface accommodations for console play and some tweaks, I don't see why this couldn't be a great port.
Kudos to CD Projekt Red for a great game, and good luck with the port! I just might have to buy it again!
Good news. I want to play the witcher. I was waiting for it to get cheap. Then I was waiting for the Endhanced version. Now I have more games then time to play so I still haven"t pick it up.
Hopefully it won't release with all the bugs that plagued the PC version until the last few patches. I tried really hard to get into this game but just wasn't feeling it. They would definitely have to "re-imagine" the controls as the game fell into the European pc developer trap of overly complex menus and there are simply too many combat options to translate intuitively onto a standard controller.
It's a great game but yes Grognard66 it's a real chore to control. With some menu optimizations I think it'll probably actually be better on console than on PC. It does combat pretty damn well, but I think that the style of combat it delivers might be better suited to a controller rather than mouse interface.
