Harmonix is now accepting redemption codes for the twenty bonus FREE! downloadable tracks that come with the purchase of Rock Band 2. You'll have to give up (or make up?) some somewhat personal information and opt out of marketing spam, but after it's all submitted you should receive a speedy confirmation email locking you into your prize. And then, Harmonix says:
"Sit tight. The Bonus Tracks will be available in a few weeks -- we'll send you an email with a download code and redemption instructions as soon as they're ready." And by the way, we still have no idea what's in this mystery track pack. But it probably ain't some AC/DC. (Update: Here's one possible set list -- thanks phragit!)

Second, my guess is this will be all Harmonix bands. So, Freezepop, Count Zero, Honest Bob, and the like. Licensed stuff costs money. That's why they're bonus songs.

I don't think these are 'bonus' songs, I think these were just songs that weren't ready to be included on the disc since the X360 version launched early. The PS3/Wii versions will have all these, so in essence, you paid for the licensing fees when you bought the disc, you just didn't get access to them yet.
And I hope that setlist is fake. Man, that's just a terrible list.

Yeah, not crazy about that list. Some of it makes sense (isn't Santeria on GHWT?), but overall it's pretty underwhelming. I'd really, really, like "Less Talk, More Rokk" in Rock Band, please.

Yeah, I wouldn't put too much faith in that set list linked on Joystiq's site. "Bandages" by Hot Hot Heat is already DLC, and I can't imagine that they're just going to give out MS points or PSN equivalent.
