Dammit, I forgot that the Special Edition bundle was delayed a month. It's kind of good though, because I couldn't pay the remainder that I owe on Sunday. And also because it'll be easier to pick up an extra guitar before I pick up my bundle.

or 2 for that matter. my gf and i prolly logged 80 hours into Rb2 with just the two of us and prolly another.. 40 or 50 playing 4 player.

I think I'm going to wait until Christmas. I want this bad, but can't afford it right now. I'll probably get the bundle since both my guitar and drums are broken. The red pad on the drums cracked so drops notes every now and then. The red button on my guitar drops notes as well, I think that has to do with the sensors in the neck but I'm not sure.
I'm hoping the new drums are more sturdy. I don't mean to beat on them so hard, but when I'm rocking out it's difficult to control myself.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not? So I'll respond as if it were a serious question. I believe they meant "solo or with up to three other band members." Really read that sentence and you'll see that you plus three equals four. And the up to means you + 1, and you + 2 as well.
Don't forget, the guitar and drums in the bundle will be WIRED, while the stand alone versions are WIRELESS.
Really? I thought the issue with the wired versions for RB1 had to do with licensing issues that weren't ironed out, and the RB2 Special Edition would have wireless.

The three songs you can't transfer aren't songs I'm going to miss, to be honest. I was worried it'd be something like The Killers and that I would have to cut someone.

Personally this is a win-win for me as I hate wireless peripherals that don't recharge very easily so I would never get wireless instruments. The thought of constantly charging or swapping out all those AA's gives me nightmares.
Ah...well, then...I'll have to put some thought into this. I would love to have a wireless guitar because the gf thinks she's always on stage and running around...(a wireless mic would be great as well)...
Agreed, I was considering the bundle, but honestly I dislike dealing with wires and with a charger for AA batteries I'm pretty happy to have some spares on hand and just keep it all wireless.
A wireless mic for the 360 would be great, though after having a quick search via Google and Ebay, it seems like, aside from the wireless headset (no thanks), there isn't a wireless mic option for xbox, unfortunate for us.
Thankfully, I'll have some time to keep an eye on this thread and others as I haven't purchased a 360 yet (hanging out to lay hands on one of the Jasper motherboard consoles) so looking forward to reading further comments! On that note, thanks Veregon for the note about wired instruments in the bundle as I had not been aware of that!
My justification for buying RB2 would be since it costs $60 and single songs cost $2 each, if I can find 30 songs in RB2 I like I would buy it.
I hit 29.. just on the cuff/edge there..... hmmm decisions decisions. Well at least they are FINALLY realizing that female artists WILL get the wifey into the action. More Lacuna Coil and other female artists please, thank you.
