Argh, Monday again. Work, getting up early, obligations, life. How about the weekend? What did you guys play? Still tearing up GTA4? Popped in Ninja Gaiden or Metal Gear Solid in anticipation of the new releases? Tell us all about it, right here.
I played some GTA4 (got killed on the first Packie missions 4 times in a row, grrrr. But most of my time was spend with Devil May Cry 4. It didn't get a lot of playtime first time around, but I'm starting to appreciate it now.
FFXI mostly. I got a decent amount done in there, so I'm happy.
Otherwise the only other gaming I did was starting MGS3. I got about an hour and a half in and so far I'm noticing it's a lot harder to hold up enemy soldiers. Of course, that could be because I decided to start on Hard, something I've never done for an MGS game before.
Wrapped up my first playthrough of Precipice of Darkness and also managed to get some side missions done on GTA4. All while I should've been writing my Psych paper. /sigh.
Had two unsuccessful runs at the Imperious TF (the new TF added in i12) on City of Heroes; the second was more frustrating than the first. My girlfriend came over on Saturday, so that occupied most of that day; we hung out on the SUMO and watched Cloverfield, Death to Smoochy, my Lewis Black DVD, and played a couple games of Munchkin. She is coming over again today, but is going into work for a couple of hours first.
Beyond that, I played a little PA: Adventures and Mario Kart DS.

Why you guys don't have an edit function. . . in a sleepy haze, I pressed post.
Anyway, this not-partying resulted in playing lots of Age of Conan, which is fun but quite buggy. For example, the servers are down right now. Also, they use crazy "world time" when they talk about the time that servers are down, and no one in my guild seems to be able to understand that CDT is GMT -5. . . so hearing grown people unable to accomplish simple subtraction is mildly amusing.
Some TF2, and some Age of Conan. Have to give AoC more time. While there has been nothing wrong with it so far, it has not grabbed me. Then again, I am only at level 11, so I have not really scratched the surface yet.

A fuckton of Rock Band. Down to the final 5 songs doing expert guitar. Oh, and like 8 hours of WoW.
What the heck was up with our games yesterday? I kept dropping about 30 seconds into Celebrity Skin...
I spent an inordinate amount of time playing Rock Band yesterday. I, too, am plowing through the Expert Guitar stuff, which scares me as I never could do this in the Guitar Hero games (esp. 3). I like it though as I feel that the last 3 years of playing Guitar Hero games are finally starting to pay off with a slight increase in my plastic guitar playing skills!
I also sunk a lot of time into the PA game and GTA IV. The second Packie mission is starting to piss me off. It's awesome, but insanely hard and I keep getting about 3/4's of the way through it and then dying. At least I learn a bit more of what is going on as I make my way through...
I also chunked away at TWEWY and watched the new Weezer video about 800 times.
