New Car Pack For Forza 2

I know some of you still play Forza Motorsport 2, so here's some news that should please you. There's a 13 vehicle DLC pack coming on 3/19! The pack will sell for 400 points.

The full car list of the autos included will be published on Monday. Until then, go here to watch the exclusive video and check out the rides on display.

400 points for 13 vehicles is a great price. What cars can you spot in the video?

I'll pass on the cars. A couple of new tracks would be awesome though! In a game with this many cars already, what's a few more?

i saw a ferrari f50 (yay!) but maybe that is in the game already. I'm glad they still make cars for the game. sure adds longevity. especially since you can paint the shit out of them. I wish they would create special single player challenges that required you to race the new cars (same with DLC tracks)

The only thing that ever bugged me about Forza 2 was the lack of the ability to set up single player races on whatever track you wanted including the DLC. Still, 400 points for 13 cars is pretty sweet. I'll pick this up.

Only things that got me really excited there were the new Evo and the new M3.... everything else is just kinda the current model year versions of cars that are already in the game fresh out of the box. Don't get me wrong... I love the new Murcs and the 430 Scuderia in real life even more than the ones....but in this game I can't imagine them being much different from what's already there. And for the new Evo I have GT5 Prologue... and I may buy one.

That linked page says "Volume 83 -- Mar. 14, 2007". Typo like that at the top of the page can be confusing.

And from the forum thread linked on that page:

Now, admittedly, it's been a while, so I may not be remembering correctly - but couldn't you create a "multiplayer game" with a bunch of AI cars, and launch by yourself? Isn't that basically the same as setting up a single player race? Or does it require more than one person in the lobby before it launches?

You can, but what I want is the ability to pick exactly which cars and which drivers the AI uses. I'd also like to do this whithout the hassle of setting it up over Live.

The official list of cars has been released:

2008 Audi S5
2007 Audi TT Coupe S-Line
1971 BMW 3.0 CSL E09
2008 BMW E92 M3
1989 Ferrari F40 Competizione
1996 Ferrari F50 GT
2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia
2007 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
2007 Maserati GranTurismo
2006 Maserati MC12 Corsa
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
2008 Porsche 911 GT2 (997)
2007 Peugeot #1 Peugeot 207 Super 2000 (Xbox liveried 2007 IRC championship winner)"

I dont think I have ever seen a racing game that allows you to pick ai drivers. But you can pick whatever car you want to race against for all 8 slots. Dont know if that helps you at all. You do not need live for this either.
