Peggle and Feeding Frenzy 2 Pop Cap Games Interview
The kind folks over at the Gamerscoreblog gave us the opportunity to ask PopCap Games VP Greg Canessa a few questions about their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade titles.
The wildly popular and addictive Peggle is coming to the service soon, as well as the sequel to the strangely addictive title, Feeding Frenzy. Will we be seeing 16 player FishMatch battles on Live? Find out in our exclusive video interview.
No respect for Feeding Frenzy or it's upcoming sequel. The game was a straight rip of Chomp! on the C64 back in 1989 (and honestly, that game was done better that FF), and PopCap never gave props to Cosmi for the concept.
I know most all their games are their own take on someone else's original concept, but Chomp! was near and dear to my heart back in the day, so I choose to hold a grudge over this one. Still gets my heart pounding when I think about the music that would play right before the shark would drop into your tank at the end of each level.

Aren't all of (or a large percentage of) PopCap's games just rips of other games, done better/more polished and with no love for the original game???
(cough) Zuma (cough) Puzzloop
It seems to be their MO, so no surprises on Feeding Frenzy.

I still just want to know why there isn't a level editor for Peggle.
Seriously, if you could make your own maps, which would probably be literally as taxing as placing pegs, it would make its already high replay value nigh infinite.
