A major update for The Orange Box (360) is available now. This second update for the Box primarily includes enhancements for Team Fortress 2. Here's a list of what's included:
Reduced network bandwidth usage in multiplayer.
Improved overall game performance.
Arranged search results to favor preferred host conditions.
Improved searching for ranked games.
Addressed a possible false report of too little storage space on larger hard drives.
It makes no sense to link to steampowered.com when there's absolutely no 360 information to be found there (as far as I can see)
This link at least contains the information quoted in the post, although essentially nothing more.
Also, there are changes not listed here - the demoman's gun now holds only 4 grenades, and the grenades no longer explode on contact after they've bounced - both of which bring the demoman in line with the PC version of the game.

The grenades no longer exploding on contact after bounce was a change added to the PC version as well, but the 360 version used to have more than 4 grenades in the gun? I played the beta since it was available (to orange box preorders, anyways) and I don't remember it having more than 4. Which always seemed kinda odd, since it's a 6-barrel gun.

Good, this is the best deal ever in the history of games, an update only makes it better. I haven't picked up Halo 3 since I got it!!!
TF2 I finally got into last night, I stopped just as the patch was released at 1:34 AM. I hope the lag issues are fixed, because quite honestly (and I never complain about lag) it was pretty tough to find a decent running game.
Although the general performance did improve, I still lagged-out from the first game I joined after installing the patch. Before the patch, the experience was mixed. Sometimes I would get four smooth games in a row and sometimes I would keep getting laggy ones. I hope it's better now because the demoman pretty much demands no lag whatsoever.
I've been lucky for the most part on the lag front. Only happened about 20% of the time, which is about 19% more often than it happens in Halo 3.
Valve has been famous for shitty network code for years, and it doesn't seem much has changed.

This shit totally borked my game. I can't even move in the menu now. Just sits at the main menu screen where you select the game, but my no button presses respond at all. The guide works and every other game is fine. Anybody hear of this?
