Yes. It plays a lot like a rogue-like, or Diablo 1, and it DEFINITELY true survival horror. The Gamestop low review is from some fool who specializes in fighting game reviews, who I think was expecting something like Left 4 Dead. It's nothing like Left 4 Dead.

It features sort of a Dark Souls multiplayer message leaving system and a rogue-like or Diablo 1 death system where you respawn as a new character and have to kill off the infected version of yourself in spot where the last char died in order to retrieve "your" old gear. It also has an iron man die once its over mode you can play along side the normal mode.

The graphics are good, equivalent to the original Condemned, I would say. But this is a launch title, so it can only get better.

Local multiplayer is handled very well and is unique. No online multiplayer though.

Since there are no achievements or trophies, they have to work extra hard to make the game rewarding, and it shows.

Correction: There are UPlay achievements and rewards. :)

Hard isnt an understatement, I died after 10 seconds in the tutorial :eek:

Yeah, but its nowhere near Dark Souls/Demon's Souls. :eek:

Liked this game since the first time I saw it.
Can you elaborate a bit about the use with the controller screen? that looked super cool and very stressing ^^;

clarification: what I loved about the presentation of the game is the mechanic, it looked super cool to work on a lock on the controller and have to look at screen to see the zombie behind you closing in ...

MY playtime is 2.5 hours and Ive died 14 times so far. Yes it is a tough lil game.

It's not that hard! My first survivor lasted 1.5 hours and was only killed by a Punk ElektroZombie. Fitting.

By the way, please add me as a friend on Nintendo Network. I want to compare leaderboards and shit.

I love the fact that this is the first console I can use/play from my PC desk.

I love miiverse. So addictive and so very easy to get help when you are stuck or just post screenshots of whatever you wanna share from your game.

You have to run and then make it up the ladder! :D

flares, molotov's and the crossbow will become your best friends.

Is this a plot based game, with proper ending, or just survival for the longest?

Both. Its a story mode you play but there are leaderboards for surviving the longest. Also there is a permadeath mode so If you die you have to start over from the beginning.
