There's a new XCOM Enemy Unknown interview comprising questions from the StrategyCore community which Jake Solomon, Lead Designer, was happy to answer.

It is indeed. It's in very safe hands with Firaxis too - Jake's an uber-fan when it comes to XCOM and a really nice guy to boot. The 2K chaps I've been speaking too are cool as well, so I've got a good feeling about this one.

One good observation from somewhere else on our forums was from someone saying that with the rate aliens are being mentioned there won't be any "enemy unknown" by the time the game is released, so I was happy when Jake said there will be a few they won't mention. I assume that means we'll probably see more of the aliens from the original game and less new ones.

I can't stand when teasers spoil games like that because the whole point behind them is the exploration and variety.
