Sweet. They should reduce the price though unless it's going to be like 10x S2. Glad to see the bombing still in.

I hope they have some better level design, and fix that off the board animation crappiness. Man I skipped out on the second since it felt like an unpolished expansion on the first with a worse vibe.

First they crap on Tony Hawk because it is an annual release. Now Skate has officially become annually released. Funny how times change.

Was it just me or did that video not show a single new trick? I know I'm gonna pick this up at some point, but depending on the new tricks it could be anywere between the 60 and 15 price points. So show us some new stuff already!

Another sequel that doesn't justify its own existence. I am surprised that some folks didn't like the 2nd one though. I skipped the first and wound up thinking the second was bliss.

Didn't touch the second because I'm tired of the social rebel, 'just got out of prison and I'm so hardcore' take on skating. I don't need that nonsense. I just want to skate.

I'll keep my eye on this one, but its worth to me is dubious at best until I learn more.

Yeah, that part didnt gel with me either. I hated that part about being an ex con. How lame.

The first one just felt so focused on just skating, and finding your own lines. It felt like the first time I played the first Tony Hawk, and to a lesser extent the second one. It starts to become more of a video game and less of a skating experience as the sequels are churned out. I have some high hopes for this one since I was let down by the second.

It's the Ultimate Destruction Tour!

Oh, wait...its not. I'll just give RIDE a try instead.

I don't remember EA / Black Box ever calling out Tony Hawk for being a yearly franchise.

The "as long as we don't rush it, and polish it" was a subtle jab at Tony Hawk's yearly shitfest.

I like the first one better but wish you could move stuff in it. It definitely felt more like just skating, having a good time etc. The second one has lots to skate, but ex-con, wtf is that.
