Thanks to GameDailyBIZ (http://biz.gamedaily.com) for the news (http://biz.gamedaily.com/industry/news/?id=11898)

Today, Capcom confirmed and announced several titles for U.S. release during their "Gamer's Day." Among the new titles announced were Capcom Puzzle World and Power Stone Collection, both for the PSP. Capcom Puzzle World is a compilation of Super Puzzle Fighter II, Block Block, and Buster Bros. Collection and the Power Stone Collection features both Power Stone 1 and 2.
Also worthy of note is the delay to Okami, which is now scheduled to release in Fall 2006.

POWERSTONE?!

That is one PSP game I have to own!

I will buy both. Only, I wish they'd come out for Xbox, because some Live would make those even more fun.

this will be one great package. Powerstone sold the DC to me, this will be a great addition to my library when I finally pick up a PSP.

Yeah, this is funny because we were actually playing PowerStone 2 like last week. I'd like to see it online too either with Xbox Live or even on the PSP. I'll most likey buy this release too. Not sure about the Puzzle one though.

Okami is the only PS2 game I want to play.

Well, that's not true. That, and shadow of the collosus.

The 2 Powerstone games are just about the only reason I still keep my DC. That and I can't get rid of gaming stuff. Like others have said, seeing these games on the Xbox would be really cool. That's money in the bank from me for whoever makes them.

Yeah, I agree that if they are going to do Powerstone, they really must make them online. Super Puzzle Fighter II is a great game aswell.

I don't have a PSP anymore though, and have no intention of getting another.

Powerstone is awesome, but I'll just get my brothers to buy it for me as I can't see myself getting a PSP anytime in the near future.

As for Okami being pushed back... GRR! I was really looking forward to getting this in a week or so. Ah well. Better to have it done right than just done.

At least I have enough JRPG's to choke a camel to keep me busy.

But back to Powerstone. Awesome fighter series that I wish they'd bring back to the main consoles. I'd pick this up for the PS2 or anything, really. I never got a copy of Powerstone 2, sadly.

I frickin loved Powerstone 2. I spent hours on that damn item creation system. The four player format just screams for online play, sadly I don't know 3 other people who own PSPs. I wonder why they didn't put it out for PS2 or Xbox?

PS2 was half the game PS was. You could win matches by just avoiding the fight, plus the items were too...unprecise.

The last time I checked, nobody cared about Powerstone.

Am I missing something, or is this just PSP fans getting excited over any ol' release since they have nothing to play.

I liked Powerstone, but it's just that I don't remember this kind of hype about it.

I don't know if it's a matter of there being a huge outcry for a Powerstone collection as much as it being that the Powerstone games were really fun and PSP owners need a fun game to play on that unit of their's.

Will it have infrastructure play?

No infrastructure (I don't think, at least), but Powerstone 2 is supposed to have 4 player adhoc with gamesharing (1 disc 4 players).

OMFG?!?! An actual game for my PSP?!?!? And it's my much loved Powerstone series!?!?!?

*head explodes*

Seriously these games are why my dreamcast is still hooked up to this day. I really wish it was coming out on xbox live instead though.

Powerstone 1 AND 2 on one disc?

Damn, this might just be the single reason I get a PSP.

Can anyone say "4:3 stretched to 16:9"? If they try to pull that shit on the final product, they are in for a world of hurt. That is horrible.

i loved the first one, the second had too much stage changes to be much of a rumble..
sad about the pics though.. stretchy sucks

i was always hoping for a new one, so if this one sells well who knows.

gotta love a game with a char by the name of wangtang.. hah!

im hoping the teen titans game will satiate my 4 player rumble appetite when that comes out.

DUDE!!!!!! I retired sophmore year of college as a l33t SPF2 champion! I can't wait. Plus powerstone? Did capcom just give me a reason to expand my PSP library where Sony has failed?
