Dead Rising Screens [360]

The concept of this game is intruiging. Apparently you only have 3 in-game days per play, which is like 3 hours or so of gametime. Combined with the open ended sandbox gameplay, and Dead Rising is a bit like an arcade version of Grand Theft Auto.

Theres even a little mini-game they put in where you put the megaman little bot heads on the zombies. this games got potential, its on my buy list. But on question, can i fly around in a shopping cart, shotting a shotgun?

EDGE magazine had an interesting feature on this game an issue or two back, where they raise a lot of concerns over the quality of its gameplay. Definitely worth a read.

Holy crap. I just watched the trailer for this. There are SO many fricking objects used as a weapon. At least...I kid you note 50 or 60 are shown. Everything form a chainsaw to a watermelon! Plus...I'm pretty sure I saw a light saber in there!!

I take that back. Just watched the trailer. Pushing zombies with a Patio umbrella? Attacking them with fruit? Swinging bodies around? I want to play this now.

And this is just me, but after playing Beyond Good and Evil, I'll love any game where you have to take photos as part of the game.

There's nothing concrete out there. Last I heard it was May sometime. My guess is right after E3.

It looks like from the trailer there may be coop. w00t!

Looks more like you're picking up sidekicks on the way, which you'll have the choice to save or to use as bait/something to keep the zombies busy while you're escaping.

This is the most interesting 360 game to date. This and Lost Planet. Keep it up, Capcom! I won't be buying a 360, but at least you've gotten me interested!

I think the people you come across are probably either fighters or cowards. He was giving the fat bloke a piggyback and that other guy was fighting. So you probably have to evac the cowards to a certain point but can get a squad going with the fighter-types.

I love zombies as much as the next guy, and these screens do look pretty awesome for the most part. But the more I look at them, and see hordes of zombies everywhere, the more I can't help but think it seems like State of Emergency 1 with prettier graphics. I honestly hope it isn't, but I can't help but be reminded of the debacle of a sandbox style game.
