There have been a bunch of niggling issues in Borderlands, but Gearbox is hard at work at resolving those. Posted to their forums (http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=81144) is information that today at 2am Central time, an update hit the 360 version. Here's a list of things they addressed in the 360 version:
Fixed a bug which caused players and other things in the world to appear incorrectly on clients in networked games
fixed a bug in which players gibbed in arena combat disappeared
fixed a bug which caused the dollars counter to spin continuously
fixed a bug that caused the digger elevator to be unusable after completing the Find Tannis mission
Weapon mapping to the D-pad should no longer reverse left and right
various localization and other text and tooltip corrections
The introductory quests with CL4P-TP should now always progress properly all the time
Lilith's Phase Strike ability now works as intended
Load times have been improved
Additionally, a PS3 patch (http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=81143) has been outlined for today with many of the same items knocked off the list.
Absent from the list are the two main areas I have for concern: Item Duping (http://evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98057) and Stats Loss (http://evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98489), but at least they're working on it.

Very cool. Love the game, got it the other night. Have a lvl 20 Berserker so far and he is pretty fun to play. Didn't pick Lilith specifically because I had read that Phase Strike is broke. Now I can play her on my next run through or on a run through with a friend.

Just to be clear, should we expect patches for similar issues on PS3 or PC, or were these all somehow 360 only?

Just updated the original post. There's a PS3 patch today as well... but no word on when to expect the PC version other than this:
We do not currently have an ETA on a PC patch, but one is absolutely in the works, and as soon as we can get information we will deliver it to you.

There is no way with their system to fix item duping. They would have to eliminate the ability to drop a weapon on the ground and instead only allow you to sell, trade or destroy a weapon. That way, each change can be persisted on your character. Even if they were somehow able to fix the "return to dashboard" problem, you could still simply drop your stuff and turn off your xbox. So, don't hold your breath on that one.
Personally, I would rather have them fix the stat loss bug (critical) and continue on to DLC. :)

what does niggling mean?
I wish they'd adjust the split screen co-op menus. It's terribly annoying that the menus are bigger then the split screen window and I have to scroll with the right stick back and forth to see them all.

you must have bought one of those internets without a search engine.

You must have had someone pee in your cereal this morning. Really there was no need to be rude because someone asked a question.

I have a feeling that they're doing a little bit more on the PC side of things, considering how vocal the PC players have been about stuff like the menus and POV.
I can hope, at least.
They did fix the server browser issue rather quickly at least.

I just wish they'd fix private games on the PC version and the FOV. That's all I need.

What's wrong with the FOV?

It's horribly low. Steam forums have a solution but it requires the press of a button in every area you load.

I can host public games, but i can't host private games. Its weird.

Fantastic game. So far my GOTY(even with it's problems). On my 2nd playthough now and loving 4 player co-op with friends.

Oh, lordy, yes! Their radar is okay, but having the option of a wider FOV would keep me from getting hit so often. I also want forced vertical sync, which Batman: Arkham Asylum (also an Unreal-3 Engine game) had, but is conspicuously absent here.
I don't care about fixing duping as much as stat loss. The possibility of going back to zero if my host quits before I do is keeping me out of multiplayer entirely at this point. What a crock of shit.

That is only if you havn't saved. There are ample save game areas that the probability that you would lose your stats is ultra rare.

Search for "UseVsync" in this post (http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showpost.php?p=1590391&postcount=1).

Now that you mention it, it does seem a bit on the narrow side. Didn't really notice it before.
Vsync is easy to apply with an INI tweak, from the link above. The intro section was very annoying without it.
Also handy is turning the right-click-zoom into a toggle, instead of holding the button. Has an unfortunate side-effect with vehicles, though.

5 new trophies(PS3) and I assume achivements (360) are up for borderlands. They are related to the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned!!!

If you do the .ini tweaks, don't forget to set it to 'read only', I keep seeing the tip put up without that important detail.
