These are scans of the official Nintendo Magazine (UK). Nice looking pics of Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime: Hunters, the Revolution, and more.

Enjoy! (http://gonintendo.com/?p=877)

Yet another big thanks to digg.

Cool shots. I wouldn't mind reading that mag. I might even start subscribing to Nintendo Power so I can see things similar to this.

Speaking of mags, I'm having the hardest time getting any of my subscriptions lately. I have four subscriptions, and I haven't seen any of them for over a month. :(

Are they Ziff Davis magazines? I'm having major problems with all of my ZD subscriptions - arriving late, without demo disks, etc. I wrote them a while ago and complained and they promised they would look into the problem and rectify it. I'm still waiting...

I went almost a month late on the last issue of CGW (with the GW Assassin on the cover) and today the new issue arrived at the same time as the new EGM and PSM. Go figure.

Yup, my OPM, CGW and EGM all arrived today - the OPM and CGW sans demo disks, of course. I'm very close to calling up ZD and giving them a Scottish earfull.

I'm missing EGM, so yeah. Although you guys just got yours today - is it me or are they arriving later now? I used to get them at the end of the month, now it's halfway through the month and it isn't here.

The other three aren't gaming related. I'm going to have to make some more phone calls.

Awesome looking games there. Can't wait.

I got my CGW today, finally. I also got a DVD demo disk inside of it. Want to know what's funny about that? I've had a subscription for almost two years and this is the FIRST time I have gotten a DVD with my magazine.

I'm also having trouble with my EGM subscription. The mag's street date was Tuesday but it still isn't here.

Yeah I saw the newest EGM mag in Border's last saturday (four different covers for kingdom hearts 2) and have yet to receive mine via mail as of today (thursday).

So it seems that several other people are having problems with mags as well.

Did all of the big magazine publishers flee the country or what?

If they did in fact flee the country, I can only assume it was to secure some much-needed investment.

My own feeling with Ziff Davis is that they are so caught up in their 1Up web portal that they're losing touch with their print division.

People still read magazines? Especially Videogame magazines where all the info is outdated two weeks before it hits the stands?

I don't get why people seem happy spreading scans of magazines like wildfire.

You do realise it is robbing the magazine of profit, and spreading intellectual property which you don't have the right to own, don't you?

Especially with video game magazines, an extremely volotile market as of late.

I copied that image to photoshop and printed it direct I am cutting it out now at work with my last 40 minutes before going home at 7:00pm friday (Aussie)

Ever since IGN got that clay modeller guy to do up a mock Gamecube controller from the images I have loved the idea of giving people something tangible to play with in there hands.

Sure it will be paper and flimsy but I am pretty chuffed that I can do it just by printing and cutting it out. (note the scale might be up shit creek because I dont no the standard page size of that mag UKTendo mags are notoriously Square compared to Aussie PC mags.

Sure it may seem dumb but print the image and cut the mofo out have a look at it and imagine you had one for 5 minutes :p

Don't Mock the Mock Ups. Any early peeks are still more than welcome. :)

*EDIT* After mockup created

So 40 Minutes later and the realisation that at 24 my craft skills are shit and and rarely tested since kindergarten the mockup cutout is complete not the best design by a long shot but it works :)

I have my very own revolution controller mockup and a workspace full of bits of paper and sticky tape woot

After jumping up and waving the thing around like a mad man (smiling the whole time :) I figured out a few things that until holding the mock didnt realise.

With one hand (Left or right) you can only hit the A and B buttons the lower hand in "Golf Club Style" can press a and b theres no way in Sword style you could hit them with one hand.

It just feels like swordplay but I get the feeling Golf Games would translate fucking beatifully (as a golfer I am very excited about this imagine a mini put 4 player game using the rev controllers PARTY GAME FTW!)

Already useful and a great waste of 40 minutes.

Scuse the crappy cam phone image

Hrm, the Rev should be out by then. Guess I should hold off on buying a GC and just pick up a Rev, heh. Wonder if it'll be Wavebird compatible.

Sadly those Zelda shots are old, like way old. And that Link art on the first page is from Ocarina. I am so a geek.

BTW my Game Informer issues now come like 2 weeks after I see them on the stands and people have already talked about them online. What's going on here?

Well, first of all, I think many of us would be happy to just go buy this mag, but it is the EUROPEAN Nintendo Power, which most of us, being in the United States, do not have access too.

On another note, it is kind of good to hear it's not just me with the subscription problems, although I think mine are even more abnormal than most. Last month I recieved two issues of PLAY on the same day, Gamedeveloper 2 days apart, and my other mags, EGM, OXM and OPM all came at least two weeks later than I saw them in store. This has been going on for quite some time, I haven't recieved a magazine on time since Katrina.

I think the U.S postal service is FUBAR here in the south somewhere, even if everything seems fine locally. That's my guess anyway, since most of the stores get their shipments UPS. Otherwise, I have no explanation for why I am recieving mine so late. I have written all the magazines and I have filed a complaint at the P.O. Neither have done any good.

Did anyone else notice that the magazine scans tell us that we will be getting the Play Yan outside of Japan sometime this year? That should be front page news!

For some reason the Future mags have been arriving earlier and earlier while the ZD mags arrive later and later. It's quite odd.

The scans have been taken down, it appears they were contacted by Nintendo and told to do so.

Anyone got a link to them somewhere else? I didn't get a peek before they were removed.

Ask Charles Darwin. Also, normal people don't care about some megacorp's 'intellectual property'. You are a shill.
