As I make a solemn promise not to buy any more tie-ins Marvel release a massive wave of them and both DC and Image bring out a couple of interesting new prospects. Must resist!

- DC (http://www.dccomics.com) - Marvel (http://www.marvel.com)- Image (http://www.imagecomics.com) - Top Cow (http://www.topcow.com) - Dark Horse (http://www.darkhorse.com) - IDW (http://www.idwpublishing.com/)- Aspen (http://www.aspencomics.com/) - Wildstorm (http://www.dccomics.com/wildstorm/) -

Arkham Reborn #1

I'm a little disappointed that my currently gigantic list has no room for this book. The Arkham stuff from Battle for the Cowl was some of the most interesting apart from the main series. Arkham needs rebuilt and Jeremiah Arkham gets it done to the standards of crazy ole' Amadeus. The new building turns into a torture house and it soon becomes apparent that the doctor can't stay in control.

Blackest Night #4

The event that keeps on giving now faces a struggle to keep readers entertained as the zombie-fication of dead heroes loses its impact. There's plenty to dwell on with the carnage of the Black Lanterns being felt across the universe. The Indigo Lanterns have made their presence known and it'll be a busy week for them as Green Lantern is out this week too. An event so good it's almost becoming its own label.

Ultimate Comics Armor Wars #2

I'd missed them starting up Ultimate Iron Man again. What the hell was the point of Ultimatum? Regardless, this has a cool cover and I'd rather have a non-wussy Tony Stark blasting his way across the face of the planet. Facing a brand new villain can he really retrieve that stolen tech? Ellis and Kurth seem like a creative team worth investing in.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve & Rex Splode #1

I love Invincible, even if I did forget to order it last week, but strangely enough this spin-off doesn't have any huge appeal. Really can't tell you why as I'm pretty sure that even a weak imitation of Kirkman's currently awesome book would be worth reading. With that in mind I'm going to recommend it anyway. Secret origin of Rex, his first meeting with Atom Eve and a dark secret they both hold.

For me the book I'm looking forward to has to be Secret Warriors. The reveal at the end of Secret Warriors: The List was great and has me looking forward to where the series is going.
