ControllerFreaks (http://microsoft.controllerfreaks.com/article.asp?ArtID=147) has an exclusive Q&A up for Battlefield: Modern Combat for the XBox 360. CF got a chance to chat with Jeff Gamon, Executive Producer about the game.
Q. Besides the graphical jump, what distinct features will the 360 version have over the Xbox and PS2 versions? Features that would give the gamer a reason to purchase the game even though he or she already owns it on the Xbox or PS2.
A. All of the assets were rebuilt for Xbox 360, and the single player campaign was re-tooled mission by mission to make it an even better experience. We also include a new feature that lets you turn any individual part of the HUD on or off. So you could have a full readout, or the parts you choose to keep, or a completely clean screen. This was in direct response to community requests to eliminate the red diamonds above enemy heads, we just made everything fully customizable. So while we aren’t trying to mislead anyone into thinking this is a completely new title, we definitely spent a lot of time thinking of ways to make this the best Battlefield 2: Modern Combat experience available.
Lots of hype around this one lately.
