Another day, another Borderlands related news post. Looks like Gearbox wasn't kidding when they said they were looking into getting the PS3 co-op issues fixed as fast as they could because those issue are now supposedly resolved... and it doesn't require you to download any game patches. Joystiq (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/21/gearbox-admits-borderlands-ps3-friends-list-glitch-fix-coming/):

Update: That was quick! Gearbox's Steve Gibson sends along word that the dev has already fixed the problem. "We are very pleased to report that using PSN friends lists with the game should now work properly for all PS3 customers. The fix has been released invisibly and should work automatically for all PSN users on the PS3 platform. No special action is required by PS3 customers to apply the fix - just play the game and you'll find that everything works fine now. We thank you all for your patience and for making us aware of the issue!"

This is good, seeing as how I own a PS3 copy of Borderlands. I've got considerably more Xbox Live friends, but my 360 refuses to be mechanically reliable.

This is a pretty awesome response from Gearbox.

Let's hope they come up with an idea for the item duping fiasco.

Woot! hopefully I can find people to play with.

.. the GAME!

.. not their bodies.

LIAR! ;)

Impressive how quickly they responded. On the 360, MS would have had to certify a patch and it would have been ready in time for the sequel. :D

LIAR! ;)

I know, right? The 360 is the zenith of reliability. :D

It's a frustrating relationship that's equal parts love and hate. I'm "only" on #2, but I have to sacrifice virgins in front of it in order to play games. Otherwise, it's simply a vessel for watching Netflix on my television.
