Yesterday we brought you a pretty sexy looking trailer (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98065) for Futuremark's Shattered Horizon and today we've got some minimum requirements for this beast of a space FPS. It specifically requires DirectX 10, limiting it to Windows Vista or Windows 7 only.

Minimum Requirements:
Shattered Horizon requires DirectX 10 on Windows Vista or Windows 7. There is no support for Windows XP or DirectX 9.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 / AMD Athlon64 X2 5600+
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT / ATI Radeon HD 3870
GPU memory: 256MB
Hard disk space: 1.5 GB
RAM: 2GB
Sound: Windows Vista compatible sound card

Recommended Requirements:

Windows 8 is a little far ahead, I think.

AND, resoanable minimum. Steep recommended.

Oh, yes. That too. Although I use win 7 latelly, win XP é the choice of most gamers today. Just see those steam surveys.

They seem pretty steep. It's been quite awhile since the bar has been raised in PC games this high and it looks like this is the one that'll push me to do an upgrade from my 3870 to a 5870 video card.

/Facepalm, I see Space FPS and get grand visions of Freespace, Privateer, heck even Wing Commander, all with glorious updated graphics, and begin to have hapy warm fuzzy's. Then I click on the trailer, watch it, and think WHAT THE HELL!! It's just a damn FPS without gravity! Talk about a major let down! Modeps, thank you for depressing me today !
