The new real life model/actress for Lara Croft has been chosen

It appears that Angelina Jolie has been replaced by Karima Adebibe as the real life version of Lara Croft. At least in regards to the new Tomb Raider video game, who knows if they'll make a third Tomb Raider movie.

Uh, what does this have to do with Angelina Jolie? Jolie IS Lara Croft in the movies because she has a bankable name. If they decide to make another movie, then Angelina will be contacted FIRST and she will decide if she wants to take part in it. If she doesn't, there is no chance in hell they are putting an unknown model into the role, they will just go ask the next biggest name like Scarlett Johannsen or Kiera Knightley or whoever else.

Besides all that, there has been a new promotional model for Lara Croft every single year since they started hiring models to portray Lara at promotional events. Has nothing to do with the movie side of it.

Lara Croft is an athletic martial arts trained adventure goddess, the model they picked doesn't look like should could complete a set of 100 sit-ups (look at the flab in the abdominal area in picture 1). They should have picked someone that was has much better muscle tone.

Jolie is not exactly pretty or gracious... she is actually a lot more sexy than aestethically beautiful. I find Karima to be better lloking than angelina, but I don't know if she is sexier... And I still think that, although Karima is really beautiful (I like the fact that she is not the sick anorexic witch type currently glorified in the united states), she looks nothing like Lara at all.
