I played the demo last week and I was very impressed. This game looks as good as the PS2 versions and has a bunch of new/original ideas to boot. I look forward to playing the full game next month.
Where'd you play the demo?!? I've been looking forward to this for a while. I hadn't heard anything and almost thought Sony had forgotten about us PSP owners.

Bleh... I hated Jak and Daxter. I really don't see the appeal, the controls are clunky and unresponsive, and as far as I can tell it doesn't introduce anything new. Better things are out there on the PS2.

They're platformers, if you like platformers, you could certainly do worse. If you don't like platformers, you're not going to like any game in this franchise (cept maybe that racing one, but that doesn't count).

You MIGHT be able to do worse. That's a pretty questionable statement, quite honestly. I mean, I only played Jak II, but it was fucking terrible. It's the kind of crap I would expect out of an unknown dev house wiht a bargain bin publisher as a quick cash-in. It is not what I would expect out of what was supposed to be a AAA title for the PS2.
When there are so many better games in the genre, on the same console no less, I don't see why anyone would pay attention to this franchise.
