This week on Steam there will be a sale (http://store.steampowered.com/news/2928/) on a different THQ (http://store.steampowered.com/publisher/THQ/) published game each day culminating with a weekend deal. To start the week off you can grab Titan Quest Gold (http://store.steampowered.com/sub/402/) at 50% off ($9.99).
Each day this week will feature a big discount on a different game from THQ. THQ Week officially kicks off today with 50% off both Titan Quest games: Titan Quest (http://store.steampowered.com/app/4540/) and Titan Quest - Immortal Throne (http://store.steampowered.com/app/4550/).
Or, if you just want to go ahead and get and awesome deal on a huge collection of THQ games, the THQ Collector Pack (http://store.steampowered.com/sub/2023/) is 10% off all week long.

I really like all the competition in the digital download market now. It seems like almost every week there is a great deal at one of the providers. For the past couple of months we've had Steam weekend sales, Direct 2 Drive anniversary sales, GamersGate and Paradox 50% off celebration sales. I love it.

Don't forget Impulse's "Weekend Impulse Buys" too. As for this deal, I have to say I'm very tempted. There's nothing like the annual list of $60 AAA holiday games to make me start feeling very stingy with my gaming allowance all the sudden.

I picked up Titan Quest Gold for $5 from Direct2Drive yesterday, along with three other $5 titles.
$5 games are too hard to pass up.

It's pretty stable (Vista 32bit). But be sure to install the "Bugfix Fanpatch (http://www.titanquest.net/forums/bugfix-fanpatch/)" which does a great job alleviating a lot of bugs from the game (version 1.17a is compatible with all distribution releases).
I've had one game CTD near the war camp in Greece but that's pretty much it so far (fortunately didn't loose the blue Necromancer staff I just got right before it crashed :D). And I'm currently in Egypt and it's been smooth.
Great game. I'm not a big fan of Diablo 2 but I love Titan Quest.

Be warned that no one online can join your session unless they also have the fanpatch.
Also know that there's an unfixed "rubberbanding" lag bug in the game that the expansion brought in. It will likely never be fixed.

Titan Quest is awesome—and $5USD @ Direct2Drive trumps Steam's $10 imho.
Thanks for the heads-up on the fanpatch, too.

I really like Steam, and I haven't yet purchased anything from any other digital distributor. I bought TQ for $5, since I couldn't resist.
There were no problems, but I prefer Steam's platform much more.
