According to the official developer blog (http://graw.1up.com/) on 1Up.com we should be seeing a demo of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter "soon."

Yes there is, we are putting something special together as we speak which will be out soon.

Excellent news.

The following is not really thought all the way through but just came to mind...

I wonder if they'll ever add functionality that allows us to reserve future downloads so that by the time we get home from work it's ready to go. That would rock. Granted, that would take away from some of the "cool - there is a new XBL MP demo" but word spreads so fast with news sites and syndication now would it really matter if we knew it was coming? I mean they wouldn't have to lock into a real date or anything, just let us check a box and start the download automagically once it's made available.

I'd really like it if you could watch a movie or listen to music and browse the market place while the downloads are working, rather than have to sit and stare at a progress bar or just leave the machine all together.

Yep, the biggest complaint I have about the 360 right now is the downloads screen..

One of the best tips I came across for 360 is to start the music player before a large download. At least your tunes will be playing while the progress bar of death moves across the screen in HD ;-)

One thing ive noticed is that the MPL downloads are mega mega fast. I mean most demos are about 500 megs and it takes me less then 5 mins for it to done. Comcast cable modem...
