Hey, a little while ago we heard it was kind of unlikely that there would be a God of War III demo included with the God of War Collection (http://evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94069) coming this fall. Welp, from the horse's mouth (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/09/god-of-war-iii-e3-2009-demo-included-in-god-of-war-collection/), we've got word that the same demo that was at E3 this year will indeed be included in the already cool collection.

Coming this fall, we are happy to announce to fans that God of War Collection will include the long-awaited God of War III E3 2009 Demo. Each copy of God of War Collection will include a voucher code that can be redeemed through PlayStation Network on the day of purchase. This is your chance to experience God of War III before it hits store shelves March 2010.

Sweet merciful crap... this is one good purchase!

Dang Modeps, I was just going to submit this as news. I was just finishing it up. So quick you are.

Good news to see thats for sure. I was going to not buy this since I own the first two, and now I am weakening.

I'm a fan of this series and will be picking this up with my PS3 Slim should I get the funds.

I would think more and more publishers would start taking advantage of this tactic in order to boost sales of non-AAA releases.

I mean, seriously--Crackdown was a great game and all, but does anyone think it would have sold NEARLY as well if it weren't bundled with the Halo 3 MP beta?

I would love to play this collection but probably won't have time. Same went for Metroid Trilogy.

Really want that demo though.

Yeah God of War is a good series and fine franchise for the Playstation. I wonder why Microsoft hasn't copy the formula and create its own Norse action adventure game.

I've played them and look forward to the HD versions of GODoW. I just hope they can put together a package with GODoW 1-3. That would resonate better with me than just a demo... A demo means i just have to double what was coming out anyways.

Wow....so I thought October was bad for new releases, now November 10th is going to be another wallet draining day. Love the whole franchise, have played and completed all three games so far. Very excited.

Ninja Blade isn't Norse (or Greek as I think you meant), but it does copy God of War's gameplay.

I really enjoyed Viking. I don't know how similar it is to GoW, having never played either of those, but Viking is a fun game. Nice fatality effects.

You should definitely pick this up when/if you get a PS3 Johan. The God of War games are really good and this is a pricepoint that seems to fit your thriftiness.

I have GoW1 and GoW2 for PS2. I've played about 3 hours of the first, and I'm considering buying this just so I can play on the setup downstairs. I hate myself.

I have a PS3 Slim. I don't recall seeing memory slots, so I'd probably have to start over. Not a terrible thing.
