Yeah, I know, I know. But it's just so convenient to buy them digitally. I don't even have to leave the house! For me, these really now become impulse purchases: "Gee, I wouldn't mind playing that ga- ... Oops, I've bought it."

Obviously for some people the price discrepancy is going to be a deterrant, but there must be plenty of people out there like me who work long hours and end up with more spare cash than spare time... For those people, Games On Demand is a great feature.

I understand the impulse buy, but these prices are crazy high for these games.

I'd rather download a demo for free to satisfy that impulse and put any on demand games that sound interesting on a list and pick them up for $10 a pop (instead of $40) next time I'm at Frys.

So what actually is the pricing difference? Since it does not look like the article references specific prices.

Shaun White is $30 in DD format on Live. You can get it from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Shaun-White-Snowboarding-Xbox-360/dp/B001B1W3KW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1254874406&sr=8-1) for $20.

I don't see any price for C&C 3 on xbox.com, but I'm also not seeing any good deals for a new copy elsewhere. Looks like you can get it used for under $10.
