I am not sure why I am even putting this down, but in case people have changed their mind here is the poll for Game Cube Game of the Year.

Voted Killer 7 even though I didn't play the gamecube version. I had it on PS2. Said to myself "This game would be fantastic if it weren't for the crappy analog control, frame rate, and load times." Then I see reviews talk about how the cube version didn't have these issues.

RE4, without question.

since RE4 should be game of the year uberalles, it should definitely be GOTY for the GC, and certainly above the PS2 version.

I voted for Halo.
Dammit, if I'd seen Halo there I would have voted for that as well. It deserves to be GotY every year, not just the year it was released. And the GameCube port is EVEN BETTER than the Xbox original.

Don't look at me like that, I don't own an XBox (and as such didn't really get a whole lot of playtime with the game until it came to PC) and I'm not a console FPS hater. I just don't see why Halo was zomg gretast game evar0z.
Edit: Not implying that you guys are those Halo nuts I'm speaking of, just using this opportunity to put my feelings about it out there. But whatever, everyone's entitled to a favorite game. I just don't see what set Halo so far ahead of anything else in the genre.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a first party title. Intelligent Systems is a direct substudio of Nintendo, much like EAD.

Battalion Wars is more or less first party as well. I haven't played any of these games, but I voted for RE4 because it is going to win anyway. :D
P.S. 8 :D

I think Halo was the first fps I've ever played where I didn't feel like the enemy AI simulated moving turrets. I really was amazed by the AI in that game, so maybe that's why people praise it so much. Personally, I don't think any fps is worth hiring any cheerleaders, but if a game has good single-player AI, then you've got to give them some credit.
I've played so many sp shooters that felt like I was playing against the computer. Halo was the first that felt like I was playing against real people.

I chose RE4, but after some thought would like to change my vote to Zelda: Twilight Princess trailer.
thanks!

Thank you for putting the option at the top of the list so I would not have to waste time reading the others.

I'm not really crazy about closed polls asking me my favorite game/thing/sexual position, but considering the GCN didn't get many titles last year, it's no big deal. RE4 for me, though I must say the latest Prince of Persia is one of the finest games around and ranks right up there with God of War and Resident Evil 4 as being some of the finest action titles of this console generation.
As for Killer 7, it has so much potential and is so damn cool, but it just doesn't live up to it. I hope the game gets a next-gen sequel with worthwhile gameplay, this series deserves it.

Might have given Prince of Persia: Two Thrones a chance, but after Warrior Within took a dump on everything I loved about Sands of Time I really wasn't interested. Resident Evil 4 gets my vote.

Wow I wasn't the only person to vote for Killer 7.
I just wrapped up Fire Emblem a couple of nights ago. I clocked sixty hours, but since I have to restart every time I lose someone and have to always take my weakest to field so that I don't end up with straglers, I probably spent twice that time on it. Good game. Inteligent systems are probably my favourite developer these days. Or do I just count them under Nintendo?
Also Fire Emblem was the only game I reember where I would have liked for there to be more FMV.

RE4.
But between the GC and PS2 versions, the PS2 version is no doubt the best.

Have you? Your previous posts indicate you haven't. Do you at least get paid for being a mindless Sony corporate shill? Otherwise, you are getting ripped off.

The Two Thrones is a return to form for the series, so give the game a chance. You'll probably dig it. It doesn't have that shitty metal muzak in the background, so there you go.

It's pretty good. Casual fun, reminiscient of a fun single player Battlefield, with a good sense of humor. Fun tactics, but not particularly strategic. As a tip, though, learning to use the c-stick to select the needed type of unit and the Z button to jump to it is really key to victory. The rock/paper/scissors feel of Advance Wars manifests itself in the unit balance.
