Shouldn't the title say NFS Shift?

In the videos you see cars flipping and some great first-person view crashes, but i dont see any of this in the video reviews???
Are these CGI moments only, and not in-game events?

The video in that trailer is literally the opening cinematic. It's ALL cg.
The game doesn't look that good maxed out. It's kind of last-gen. It plays realistically.. similar to Forza. Nice car selection, but... yeah.

It happens in the game. I've seen some major crashes by the AI and some caused by me :) There's also some very unrealistic stuff that happens like I drove underneath a car, he went up over my roof and came done behind me unscathed. Still, this game is a lot of fun to play/drive.

What are you talking about?? That's in game footage. Last-gen??? You must be legally blind.

Well not last-gen. More like semi-"last-gen racing game" is what I meant. I don't feel the game is super amazing looking. The car models are EXCELLENT (interior and exterior).. but other than that I feel the textures are pretty meh-quality. They're good, but they should be better. Playing on my PC at literally max settings, I'm not extremely impressed. The game glides effortlessly... but they could have increased the visuals tremendously. There's a lot of aliasing even with 8x. I feel this game competes with Forza 2ish, which is literally over two years old, now. GT5 and Forza3 are probably going to stomp this game, which Shift will be actually competing against. We'll see, though. Maybe i'll be wrong.
Also: Granted, I doubt GT3 and F3 are going to ever come to PC... I don't know how Shift looks on consoles. I'm positive it can't be what I'm experiencing on PC, though.
The game does play very well, though. I was playing with all the assisted equipment on before. Turning them off it plays like a dream

I know it's somewhat high end, but I feel games should be somewhat "future-proof".. like doom3 was. this game is not

Great, I'm running a Phenom II 940 and a 4870. I feel good about picking it up now.
I, on the other hand, would rather a game plays perfect for the time it's released.
