It would have been nicer if they gave it to people who pre-ordered the game. After operation anchorage i wasn't much for buying into their downloads.

You're missing out then. After Operation Anchorage they got significantly better. Broken Steel and Point Lookout in particular are well worth the money.

I bought the PC collectors edition plus all 5 add-ons as well as an add-on for the xbox version because navigating Windows Live sucks....do I get the theme? Probably not because us PC people are just old fashioned and a burden to society. ;)

That used to be true but: This reminded me that I hadn't grabbed the Mothership addon yet (oh no, marketing success!)

When I did, there was a Windows Live update, and the new one is *much* better than it was. You were right that navigating that big window full of nondescriptive icons was awful. The new one is much better.

And as someone who refuses to pay for digital vanity, but does appreciate having nice looks, this is a great reward for sticking with a great game. The addon packs have had their problems (hence me waiting before buying the latest one) but they've all been well worth the money.

Users on the land of PC get themes that are user made and a thousand times better then crap on Live. Its great you get a theme and all, but they should be free in the first place.

So now my XBox can be as bleak and depressing as playing in Fallout 3?

Sign me up?

A small token of our appreciation for paying $50 for the amount of content that would have been a single expansion pack in the not too distant past.

That is a fair amount of content for that $50. Basically a night out with the little women is around $50.
