Is it just me, or did all they do was update the date on that webpage? I got this driver in December, and the readme pdf file on their site is even dated Dec. 2005.

I thought it was pretty damn funny that the driver I'd pulled down last month didn't recognize the 7800 GS I bought this weekend. The drivers on the CD are almost never up to date, these were actually ahead of date! Good to see I wasn't imagining things :)

Did you get one of those 7800 GS AGPs? How do you like it?

I haven't really had time to test it out (just got it Saturday) but it's looking pretty hot thus far. I can run WoW at full everything at 1280x1024, but I haven't really tried FEAR or anything yet.

I got an X1900 the other day.

It shoots through schools.

And it too doesn't recognize the latest ATI driver: the x1900 and XTX are being supported with the drivers coming out in the next 3-4 weeks.

With my X1900XT I've got Fear, CS: S, DoD: S and HL2 playing with everything at max at 16x12 and I've got Civ4, Pirates!, Dawn of War all running at 20x14 at 75hz.. it's just .. *drool*

The release in December was the 81.95's.

*edit*

Actually, you might be right. I checked my own driver revision and I have WQHL Approved 81.98 drivers already installed as well.

Weird.

I've been using the www.tweaksrus.com 81.95 drivers for quite some time.

This is a relatively old driver, as i remember passing it by when it first came out...

Still, if you want to run SLi, it has some damn nice fixes.

Yeah, what's the deal with these drivers? I've had them forever.

Amen. I've had the 81.98 since December as well, so I chuckled a bit when this came up. I wonder why they might have changed the date, though. Odd.

Same, I've got these drivers already... i'm afraid these are'nt new at all :P might want to remove this from the front page or change the title.

But what are your frames like in one of the big populated areas or big battle instance?
