Gamecloud (http://www.gamecloud.com/) has an interview (http://www.gamecloud.com/article.php?article_id=3357) up with the developers of the upcoming WWII Flight Action game Blazing Angels. The game is set to come out on XBox and XBox 360, but what's the difference?

Gamecloud - What extra graphical and gameplay features will the Xbox 360 version of the game have?

Ioan Palalauv - Enhanced 3D plane models: Highly detailed and authentic-looking planes make intensive use of environmental lighting and dynamic imagery. New improved and enlarged textures provide more detail for both planes and terrain: Players will see sun glare on their cockpits, light shafts streaking through clouds and detailed shadows on the environment. Cities, buildings and facilities have also been enhanced to take full advantage of advanced lighting effects and shading to create an intense, realistic atmosphere for cities and military bases. More realistic battle damage: Bullets hit planes and smoke dynamically streams from cannons and engines. Battle damage from bullets, bombs and downed planes is visible and persistent on both terrain and buildings.

Dramatic presentation: Visual perception filtering will be enhanced including extended burn effects and motion blur to create even more drama. Intense shockwaves from explosions fill the sky with debris using dynamic lighting and particle effects made possible by Xbox 360’s system.

Enhanced sound effects: Perception filtering enhances the player's immersion. Sound treatment is actively managed in accordance to what the player does. Sound varies depending on the scene in order to create a more immersive, cinematic and dramatic atmosphere around the player. From a gameplay POV, the 360 version will capitalize on the strength of the console. The theaters of war will be bigger and even more filled with enemies and allies than on Xbox, the AI will take decision faster.
Release Date: 03/23/2006 (XBOX (http://www.gametab.com/xbox/blazing.angels.squadrons.of.wwii/4067/), XBOX360 (http://www.gametab.com/xbox360/blazing.angels.squadrons.of.wwii/5091/))

Wow, sounds like they really put some effort into the 360 version. Can't wait for this one.

Between this, The Outfit, Ghost Recon, and Oblivion, March is going to be a rough month on my wallet. I don't know where I am going to find the time to play all these games, I wish just one of them would get released this month instead of all in March.

Maybe I'm just obvious but how about DON'T BUY THE GODDAMN GAME UNTIL APRIL THEN. Jeez, of all the things people can complain about...

Wow, did someone get up on the wrong side of the bed? My point is that there is nothing I am interested in to play in February and tons in March, just wishing the good games were spread out more instead of clumped together. Is that okay? Bold type is neato!

This is on my radar and yes Voodoo, March is gonna be a hotdogs & ramen month for me aswell.

Does anyone know if it will have 3d cockpits? Oleg is still the king, but Midway on Live is oh so sweet. :)

I read a preview of the game a month or so ago and I think I do remember reading there would be an option for a inside the cockpit view but I am not 100 percent sure about that. I can't wait to play the multiplayer for this game, I have always been naturally good at dogfighting games so I am hoping I can actually be somewhat competitive playing online.
