Last night on GameTrailers TV (http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/69&ch=1&sd=0?ep=69&ch=1&sd=0), LucasArts finally announced a game that was leaked/rumored several months ago. Lucidity will be coming to PC and Xbox Live Arcade, it's a two dimensional side scrolling puzzler staring a girl named Sophie. The difference here is that you don't control her, you control the world around her to get her through. It has somewhere around 30 levels in the story and will supposedly be coming late this month.

Tetris meets The Incredible Machine meets Lemmings meets Braid? I dunno... that gameplay looked really slow, although it was obviously the first tutorial level. I'd like to see how some of the later more complicated levels play before I pass judgment.

From a post found over at GAF:

Fast forward to chapter 3. Shows gameplay with complicated layout and puzzle pieces.

AKA Eets. But don't get me wrong, more games should take a note from the beautifully indie Eets.
File me under excited.

Lemmings x Incredible Machine is the first thing I thought of too.. Could be fun! The later chapter levels look a lot more like what I would expect. Could get pretty hectic.

I saw some Eets in Lucidity as well. I LOVED Eets. Wish a sequel would come out. :D
