XBox Front (http://www.xboxfront.de/screenshots-728-1875-Tom_Clancy_s_Ghost_Recon_3__Advanced_Warfighter.ht ml) has a handful of new screenshots up of the upcoming Ghost Recon sequel for XBox 360. The last couple of shots actually show some multiplayer.
Release Date: 03/07/2006 (PC (http://www.gametab.com/pc/tom.clancys.ghost.recon.advanced.warfighter/4144/), 360 (http://www.gametab.com/xbox360/tom.clancys.ghost.recon.advanced.warfighter/4147/))
Looking really good again. I like the whole stylized look of the game.

While the resolution and detail look good, the colours look washed out. Is it just the format they were copied in or how the game will look? This series is a big favorite of mine especially on live so the graphics aren`t the be all and end all for me but i was expecting a better quality.

Ghost Recon looks like its being made more and more like an arcade shooter, and less and less a realistic one. I'm not saying that's good or bad, but with all the futuretech in this title, it's looking more and more like science fiction.
Still, if it looks this good, and has as much depth as I've read about, then it should prove an interesting title.

Actualy that "future tech" in reality is only about 4 years away at most. All the advanced war fighter gear is modeled after and based on the real deal.
I watched a documentery on the military channel about 6 months ago and one on the Discovery channel about a year in a half ago about this very technology and I thought what they were showing in the documentaries were far more advanced than what is in the game. Oh you can also turn off most of the hud features if you want to go at it old school, and that grainy effect is also an option you can turn off and on.
One more thing, links to 3 more videos I think they are multiplayer, at least one and three are, I am not so sure about 2. Quality is a ok and the servers are a bit slow so be patient.

THREE (http://www.ghostaholic.com/downloadsxy/graw-movie/gameplay3.wmv) GRAW videos ha ha ha

Well, the "washed out" look is likely replicating the dusty, desert environments the game seems to be set in. Personally, that game looks freaking fantastic. The shot that is in the second row, second from the left...the lighting on the gun and hands...that looks real. Not everything is like that, but that looks very good.

The game is set in Mexico City which can get quite dusty.

Big fan of the rainbow games so this one will come home with me as well. Actually some of the new technology is suppose to be on the battlefield. I know some soldiers are wearing the body armour and the integrated pc has been in development for years now.

My only minor quibble so far is the 'T' rating - no doubt meaning the realism will be hampered (no blood, foul language, etc.) Not that a game needs either of those to be realistic, but games like this are certainly enhanced by their presence (see Full Spectrum Warrior for details).

Are you sure this is coming to the PC bap? The second one never even made it.
I really loved the first game on PC, but I haven't been too impressed by the direction this series has gone in after the first release.

This game looks pretty sweet to me. I hope that the online multiplayer portion is rock solid. The 360 still needs a rock solid online game (IMO, I know some people who really dig the MP in Perfect Dark, but the game feels really slow to me).

THe 360 version is supposed to be somewhat different than the 360 version. PC is FPS while 360 is 3rd.

The PC version of the game is being made by a Swedish developer called GRIN and will have a more "tactical" feel that is closer to the original GR.

They also said that GR2 would come to the PC, so I don't put much faith in that. Thanks for the link though Boots.

This one appears to be further along the development cycle than GR 2, though. I guess we'll find out come March.
One thing I know for certain is that I will not be buying it on PC for one reason and one reason alone - Starforce.

Now these are what I call screenshots! Full, 720p grabs = much love. Certain other sites should take note.
The screens and grifter_66's videos show a beautiful game. This is the kind of product that makes me buy a gaming system. Let's hope the gameplay is up to snuff, too; from what I saw in the video, those red diamonds seem to give away enemy positions. Wallh4ks?
