Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers builds upon the ground-breaking, genre-blending game play of the original, integrating an all new robust multiplayer system, player-controlled coalition forces, mechanized units and enhanced character abilities and advanced enemy A.I. WorthPlaying was at a rcent THQ paintball event, where we also got to play some FSW: TH, here is a snip :

New to the mix is an FPS-style precision shooting mode, which means you can jump into the boots of one soldier and target his fire on a limited basis. This precision-style first-person mode is especially effective when shots count the most. An example of this can be seen in the addition of the new sniper teams – simply "zoom" in on the soldier with the rifle, and get ready to go for some headshots. The precision shooting mode is especially vital when insurgents hide behind non-destructible objects and terrain, like cars or walls.

So, it's more like Brothers in Arms now instead of purely puzzle game? I dig.

I bet it is still real puzzley and very "try and die". There will probably be plenty of tanks around the corner that are just waiting to blow up your squad and force you to load up from your last save point. . . but that's okay really.

The last one was a lot of fun via Xbox Live. Sharing command with a friend and planning out strategies with voice really made this game worth playing. . . but that didn't last very long. We beat the game in two long-ish play sessions. . . and after winning, there really didn't feel like there was any reason to ever play it again.

I'll definitely be renting this (at the same time that my buddy rents it), but unless they've added some replayability to the game, I won't be buying it.

Hell, I loved the first game so I'm eagerly anticipating this sequel...

Ah, yes, the Dragon's Lair of modern tactical street-to-street combat.

Annoying as hell... and yet, a friend and I could NOT put it down. Lots of "puzzles" but we had to finish it. We "gave up" several times, only to return, time and again, to get "get around that next corner" ...

Like bean19, though, we never looked at it again...

I must say, I am interested in this title. The less puzzles the better.

I thought the first one was dull & tedious. Turn a corner..*surprise* a guy behind a dumpster...How many times do you flank someone before it gets borring and repetitive? About 25 times for me...The voice acting was awful.
I agree the multiplayer and the hidden army mode was worth it, however
paperwork has a higher replay value.

Yeah, I couldn't do much with singleplayer past the training missions.
