Gamespy (http://www.gamespy.com) has an article (http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/rise-of-nations-2/685658p1.html) up that details the newly announced third race for the followup to Big Huge Games's hit Rise of Nations, Rise of Legends. The new race is the deceptive Cuotl. According to the article:
Enter the Cuotl, alien survivors from a crashed space vessel. Marooned on the world of Aio, the aliens do what any self-respecting castaway would do - work on a way to get the hell off the planet and use whatever resources available to do it."They seemed to balance out the existing races in almost every way. The two human civilizations are opposed by an alien one." The Cuotl also bridge the gap between science and technology. "The Cuotl are a technological people," Train said, "But their technology is all presented as magical or god-like forces. They don't fire an orbital laser -- their national 'spell' is called 'Starbolt' and it calls fire down from the Heavens."
Sounds pretty interesting. A good solution to what compliments magic and technology. Technology in the guise of magic! This game keeps looking better and better!
