Big ole press release by Nintendo late yesterday dropped without much of a peep, but there's some pretty big and telling information in it. First, Wii Fit Plus will be coming to stores on October 4th in two configurations. It will be bundled with the Balance Board for $100, or you can buy the software alone for $20.

Starting September 13th, you'll be able to buy white and pink DSi's.

Finally, although there's been no announcement of a black Nintendo Wii, they're putting out black peripherals at some point "this holiday season." This includes the Nunchuck, Wii remote, and Wii Motion Plus. All signs point to a black Wii coming sometime after the holidays.

Full details after the break.

Should of had these at the start, I already have 4 wiimotes and accompanying nunchakus. I needed different color wiimotes at launch dammit!

On a slightly-unrelated note, please release more Fire Emblem games for the Wii Nintendo!

$20 for disc only is pretty good. I was disappointed with the 1st edition, but there is a solid amount of promise.

Kinda wish they would have stuck with the shiny lacquer finish on the DSi's. The new matte finish is kinda fugly and scratches really easily. Something brushes up against it and its like chalk on a chalkboard.

This is awesome. I know the boy wanted a DSi for Xmas and I wanted to get a new one for the girl... blue for the boy and pink for the girl.

Dad is sticking with basic black. It goes with everything.
