THQ has announced that MotoGP '06 (http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/nid/1263/2215/) is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 in May 2006.
MotoGP '06 will mark the series' debut on the Xbox 360 and will hope to continue the success that the previous three titles achieved on the Xbox. The game promises to deliver truly draw-dropping visuals and levels of realism not previously possible. The game will also incorporate the latest 2006 race season information.

Holly Crap!
I've been a fan of this series and thought that the previous screen shots looked great. But these are insane.
It seems that getting to look at screen shots early in the development of game doesn't mean what it used to.

Meh! It's nothing the original Xbox couldn't do. All you graphics whores are in for a shock when you realize that your fancy-pants Xbox 360 is nothing more than a gussied up Xbox (that overheats and has no good games). And with the exception of Microsoft's fanboys, everyone knows that the Xbox was the weakest console ever put together - from the hardware to the games, everything about it screamed JOBBY!
Disclaimer - the above post is meant to be taken in a sarcastic manner.

Holy crap - this has cemented my purchase of a 360 in May, I'm a great fan of this series, as is my dad (and his sportsbike owning friends) so I can have some great times with him before I leave this summer! I'm really looking forward to zooming around Donington on this one.

Good lord! ...Ok, that is what I am talking about!
Oh and can we say, just a small uprade in quality these last few months?! It doesn't even look like the same game!
Ok, it's getting to the point where I'm going to have to sell my R1, as these games are getting so realistic, (without the risk). I almost dumped my bike out at the track a few months ago, (and I still owe money on it).
Now if only I can get a usb fan, and have it blow air in my face whilst I am playing! )

Looks incredible.
I have been a fan of the series since the start. I want it, and badly, but will have to wait for that 360 price drop.

Thank god they worked on those road textures. The bikes and riders always looked great, but it looked like they cheaped out on the rest of the world. Now this looks purchase-worthy.

meh.. it's ok.
I believe the XBox360 is capable of much more though. We'll see when Forza Motorsports 2 comes out.

You might have to wait awhile for that price drop as I don't foresee MS making any changes to the price structure until the PS3 comes out.

I've been spending way too much time playing MotoGp3. I can't get enough of it. And those screens have convinced me that i will get a 360 just for this game. I can't wait to race on LIVE.

I hope these don't turn out to be bullshots. If it really looks this good and has some good online play this might seal an x360 for me. MotoGP 2 was fun for a while but it wasn't very immersive for me, it seemed too cartoony. If this one makes the experience more visceral, I'm in.

Why don't they show what it looks like when you're actually playing, and not just replay shots?

I'm fine with waiting.
To be completely honest there really isn't too much else that has me interested in getting a 360. I'm not normally into straight up action or racing games unless there is something that makes them exceptional. I ride a bike, this is the closest thing to recreate that experience.
Oh yeah, Oblivion, but I will get that for PC, even though a 360 would be nice to play that on. My PC isn't going to run it all that great, I mean it will run, but not with all the bells and whistles. I would rather get a new video card anyway.

im bringing this game home with me as well. I always wanted to try my hand at bike racing without those nasty gravel tarmac rashes. taco, there is a video somewhere of the game being palyed, it even shows a guy wrecking and skidding across the ground.
