I am more excited about this franchise return than any other, even Zelda, I think. The whole concept of the TR games was fantastic and Crystal D is a quality company.

Hmm...
If a franchise dies in the woods and no one's there to see it, does it make a sound? ;)

Crystal Dynamics does what Core can't. Hopefully.

I have to say that I'm kinda excited about this game. The GameSpot.com hands on preview sounded great!
Now I just need to decide if I get the XBOX or PSP version. :P

"Everyone working on Legend is buzzing right now, we are all so excited that this totally new incarnation of Lara's breasts will capture gamers' hearts.
Fixed.
Seriously though, I'm skeptical, but I really hope this game works. I enjoyed the first two games in the series. The third one was kind of okay I guess but after that I was pretty disappointed.

I haven't really been excited about these games since the first one...
In my book, the first PoP was a far more entertaining take on jumping puzzles. The whole maze like aspect of these games just annoys me.

If they don't improve the camera/movement controls, they shouldn't bother issuing a PC version.

What the hell? Have you even played it? How do you know that the camera/movement controls are going to be shoddy. Wait...you don't. Just basing it on your past experience with a game developed by a seperate company that was critically acclaimed to be worst in the series is asinine...

I'm trying to remain optimistic. From the previews it seems as though they've made smart changes to the formula, and bringing in Toby Gard was a good thing.

While it's not up there on my list of must haves, I'm remaining optimistic. The previews I've read have been very uplifying and I like the idea of using/interacting with the environment more to get around/solve puzzles.
She's still go those plunger-esque lips though. yuck.

Im sorry....
I saw a video of the some "Dragons Lair" type BS. I don't get it...
If lara can do all these things like jump, hang, flip, etc... why have it in a semi-interactive sequence?

Watch the video preview over at Gamespot.com. That is a very small part of the game, and 99% is classic 3rd person adventuring/platforming. And their thoughts about the "interactive" parts of the levels, where actually pretty cool and interesting.
