Electronic Arts has given C&C4 an official name by fans of the game. It will forever be known now as Command & Conquer 4 Tiberium Twilight and will still be coming out FOR PC in 2010.

In the name of Kane - the fans have spoken. Today EA Los Angeles announces the official name for the upcoming iteration of the award-winning real-time strategy series, Command & Conquer 4. Scheduled for a 2010 release, Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight was chosen by the series’ dedicated fan base as their favorite name for the next installment of the best-selling game franchise. More than 15,000 fans from all over the world submitted their ideas via www.commandandconquer.com, with Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight being the most popular title for EALA’s conclusion to the epic Tiberium saga.

Makes sense, remembering that was the naming convention from way back around TS's time (first one was Tiberian Dawn). Probably won't buy it anyway.

Boy am I glad they're wrapping this up. From a formerly insane C&C fan, this has gotten to be just rotten and stale.

Maybe they can rebuild the Generals line of C&C games with a new engine. Hello! I'd like to scroll out, you know, like way out!
